Bogdan ASAFTEI
Bogdan Bogdan Asaftei is a Romanian journalist and editor specialising in economy. Currently, he is the coordinating editor of the economic department of HotNews.ro, as well as a correspondent for Austrian business daily WirtschaftsBlatt, covering Romanian and Bulgarian business and politics issues. Previously, he was the editor of economic news for the Money Channel Television station. He is a philosophy graduate of the University of Bucharest.

Sokol Sokol Ferizi is a young Kosovar journalist working for the Lajm daily newspaper and as moderator of the leading internet debate list in Kosovo, Prishtina Team. Prior to this, he was an intern at the Kosovar Institute for Policy Research and Development, KIPRED.

Milorad IVANOVIĆ

Milorad Ivanović is the deputy editor in chief of the popular Serbian daily Blic, for which he previously served as foreign affairs editor. He has also worked as a correspondent for French news agencies EPN and Radio France International, and the Scottish Mail on Sunday, and had articles published in many international media.

Davor KONJIKU IĆ

Davor Davor Konjikušić is a freelance journalist based in Zagreb, working for a range of media in Croatia and Serbia. He is the author of a documentary film, “Dossier Osijek,” nominated by B92 as the best journalistic research of 2006, and has worked with the Fade In production house on more then fifty reports for Croatian Radio Television. He also works with Documenta, a Croatian organisation dealing with post-conflict justice and reconciliation, on its oral history project. Previously, he worked for the Serbian weekly Vreme and VIN, the first independent TV production house in Serbia.

Nikoleta POPKOSTADINOVA

Nikoleta Nikoleta Popkostadinova is a journalist covering social affairs at the Bulgarian weekly Capital. She has also worked as a freelancer, reporting on Bulgarian social and political issues for Transitions Online. She received the “Dimitar Peshev” award for Ethnic and Religious Tolerance in Media 2006, given by UNDP, the Bulgarian National Agency, the Ethnic Initiative for Human Rights and the Journalism and Public Relationships Department at Sofia University.

Altin Altin Raxhimi is an experienced journalist currently working freelance from Albania for a host of English-language publications and reporting projects, including BIRN, www.reportingproject.net, Inter-Press Service and The Chicago Tribune. Prior to that, he co-produced Top Show, a nightly talk show on current affairs, society, arts and lifestyle. He graduated journalism at Tirana University, and studied further at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University, focussing on the role of religion in society and politics

Bojana Bojana Stanišić is a freelance journalist based in Montenegro, who has written and worked for BIRN, Jumedia mont, DAN and the weekly Standard. She is interested in EU and environmental affairs, and has undergone related training with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), the European Commission Delegation in Serbia and the OSCE Mission in Montenegro, including study trips to Brussels.

Eleonora VENINOVA

Eleonora Eleonora Veninova is a journalist for Sitel TV, a national Macedonian channel, covering social and youth issues. Additionally, she works for Cre8ive 8 Production, producing documentaries and short promotional clips for the British Council, including an exclusive interview with HRH Prince Edward in 2006. She won the “Make a difference” award from UNICEF for one minute clip, presented in New York in 2005.
