Jasmina Lazic is a journalist at Vreme weekly and features editor at ELLE Serbia magazine.

She specialises in health and women's rights issues and has reported from some of Europe's top health and science congresses. In 2011, she won first prize in a competition organised by Serbia's Ministry of Health for the best media report about the human rights of people with HIV.

For the fellowship, she is looking at medical options, such as egg-freezing, for women who want to have children later in life.
