After days and days of hard work and lots of chats over an ice - cream, I finally convinced myself to sit and take my hands off the cold ice – cream cup and on the hot and slightly dusty keyboard. Dusty, not because I haven’t used it, but from the Saharan dust that came in Macedonia with the hot African heat wave.

I will try to keep my posts as regular as possible, informing you of all mine ups and downs while trying to unravel the issue of illegal migration and trafficking from the Balkans to EU, and how it affects visa policies toward the Balkan countries*

* I just love writing this title since it took me (and our patient editors from BIRN) weeks to formulate what I will be doing exactly in these three months.
